I directly blame these websites for leading me to transition among other things. I find it really harmful to think that wanting to be something means you are that thing. As a teenager, I truly thought since I wanted to be male, I was male, through and through.

In my childhood (ages 12-ish and under) I never had any signs of wanting to be a boy and was a typical girl. But I think I permanently fucked up my brain while in a VERY important developmental stage, and thats why a part of my brain permanently "feels like i'm a man".

what do you all think causes the "man in a dress" feeling in cis women/girls? i have always felt like a grown man in a dress even as far back to being a 12-13 year old girl. not even a boy in a dress. A MAN. ive been feeling this way from ages 12 to 22 (current).
