Preview thumbnail for Score!! A local community member gave me these beautiful pieces. It is a horse skull, a few vertebrae and 2 hooves. I’m going to work with them to make art. But they need to be cleaned. What would be the best way to clean them? I will scrub the debris off but would like to keep the teeth in. image

Preview thumbnail for How long do y'all let your bones soak to degrease and what do you use? The skull lightened up a lot but the little jaws darkened a lot as the grease came to the surface. I've changed the water twice now and have been scrubbing them intermittently with a toothbrush. Any direction helps 💕 image

Preview thumbnail for Did I do something wrong? I let it soak in soap, then peroxide. I boiled it to sanitize (it was mostly but not entirely decomposed) either before soap or after I can't remember. Any advice? Is it gonna decompose on me? image
