Ethical?: collecting in ranchers fields?

Post Body

My family are cattle ranchers and deer hunters (all of the animal is used. Deer meat is fantastic). Due to this, I have easy access to those bones. Would that still be considered ethical to collect? They weren’t killed for the bones, and were used in respectful ways.

But also on the other hand, what about animals who were killed to protect livestock? I understand why this is done, but is wondering if people think it’s ethical.
