A deload period did me some good. I was struggling to push 225 for reps. Yesterday I ripped it easy and by my top set I was feeling good enough to shoot for a new PR. The eccentric movement was a bit sloppy, but the push itself felt great. This much closer to 3 plates!

I've been dealing with a bout of The Big Sad recently. It has taken the wind out of my sails in just about everything I do. I haven't finished a workout in weeks but today I was finally able to make it through my whole routine. Just keep pushing.

Comrades, after having a bad last few weeks in the gym hitting wall after wall with everything I did, today I was able to finally achieve a new PR of 255lbs for a single. It doesn't matter what you do when you show up so long as you show up progress will happen.

Posted a squat last week. Got tons of great pointers and suggestions. Yesterday I did a few sets of paused squats focusing on form. I noticed my heels raised a bit during a few of my reps. More form pointers or cues would be appreciated. I really want to clean up my squats.

Been feeling like shit the last few weeks. Finally had a couple good days in a row amd a good day in the gym. 405lbs used to feel heavy for a single, today I did 5 reps and it felt really smooth.
