(Sorry I know I just posted about one thing, and now I'm posting about another, lol)
Is there anyone here currently disabled with physical limitations that has managed to start a relationship after said disability began? Was it your 1st, 2nd, etc... partner? How did you meet them? How did you navigate telling them about your limitations?
I'm finding making new partners exceedingly difficult since my disability has gotten worse.
(For reference: I have 3 herniated discs, t6-7, t10-11, and l1-s5, as well as osteoarthritis in the flacets of my s2-4 vertebrae. The herniation at l1-s5 has been pressing on my sciatic nerve cluster responsible for most of my lower body's function. While I can still function there it is severely limited and causes considerable pain. I am currently waiting to hear back from a surgeon as all previous treatments have failed/made things worse [you name it, I've tried it])
