Hello. My wife and I have had an open, kinky marriage for 16 years (married for 21; together 24). Lately we have been exploring a bit with another person but are not clear yet whether this is an extension of our open relationship or a poly relationship.

My wife found Franklin Veaux’s website (more than 2) and has been reading it.

My question, before she and I delve deeply into it, is how credible a source on Poly is Mr. Veaux?

What I mean is: is he seen as an expert or more of a blogger with his own opinions, some of which are not standard to poly?

Also, could you recommend sources for us to explore poly together?
