Question about hosting?

Post Body

How many people generally have an open door hosting policy? How many host with specific boundaries around timing and such? How many just don’t host and figure out other ways of staying with partners?

Had a conversation come up where it seemed to be very judged that some don’t have full open hosting policies with their NPs, and acted like they’ve never met anyone who DIDNT just have fully open hosting in their homes. I was confused because I’ve known people with many configurations and different comfort around this. Are we the odd one out for not just having fully open hosting as the standard in our home? No judgment from me either way bc imo everyone does relationships and poly in different ways but I felt a lot of judgment from this person for not doing this the way they do and it made me very curious about if this was the norm and I just didn’t realize
