Hello, I have a domestic partner and we’ve been together for over a year. We have a beautiful relationship, but I want to start dating. I am personally terrified of fucking up poly relationships which is why I’ve never pursued anyone or tried having a second partner in the past. I’ve been in 3(1 with two metas, another being sexually open) and have taken away lessons for having a second poly relationship. My question is: how do you handle two relationships? What are some recommendations as far as prepping for dating? How do you go about it? I might be overthinking here, but I’m genuinely curious. Books can only educate you so much as far as communication, dynamics and time(among other factors).
