Assuming you have more than one partner with boundaries in place, why did you choose to break that trust?

Props to u/TheF8sAllow for helping clarify what I meant.

I assume you mean "Alice has a boundary about X and has told their partner Clive what their reaction will be if he does X. Clive chose to do X anyway and face the reaction from Alice."

Yes, I am the Alice in this situation. I just need to understand from other people why.
