How much is too much to ask about someone else’s partner(s)?

Post Body

I (20F) haven’t been poly very long but am starting to go out with more people who currently have other partners. I know there’s usually different scales of what people consider appropriate and inappropriate for first date/getting to know each other conversation, but I don’t have much reference material to go off of for this one lol. How much do you all usually ask at the beginning/what would you consider too much from someone?

For more reference, I’ve been in an open/poly relationship before just not so much the dating new people side, but hearing about fun dates or experiences my partners had with other people made me happy and I enjoy that aspect a lot :)
