So fir me people who consider the possiblity of closing a relationship even momentarily make no sense from a polyamorous perspective and I consider them as people who never really understood polyamory to begin with.
Bein poly is about knowing you can love people at the same yime (abundance) and loving someone doesn't hold you back from loving others equally.
What is the point of closing a relationship? It basically means this person doesn't believe in rhe very foundational principles of polyamory. You can't just magically stop loving someone just because another partner told you to. And then maybe magically resume as nothing happened (or maybe not).
I just consider it a huge red flag when prople consider this as a possible solution to their relationship problems. To me it means they do not understand polyamory and completely missed the point.
What do you think?
