View Post: I like Cream, Blind Faith s/t, love the Layla album (solo stuff is ok/meh).. But I never understood the hype around his guitar playing.. His phrasing tasteful, but nonetheless 99% unadventurous stock blues pentatonic licks which only sound interesting in the context of a good groove or chord changes
