Hello guys! I am currently at 40-50 MPW and am looking to add some swimming into my workout routine twice a week. I was wondering what swimming workouts you would recommend for me to do and any suggestions you have about it. I am really training hard to break 16:30 in the 5k this spring and I feel like some swimming in between indoor and outdoor would help a lot. I have seen some that say to just swim 1500m and some say to do 12 by 100m with some rest. So please drop some workout ideas for me to do in the comments!
