I’ve forgiven recent infidelity, however I reacted very badly. I was in a psychiatric ward after trying to hurt myself during an argument with him. We agreed to focus on our family and he’s been very supportive about my mental health issues.

3 months passed and a speeding ticket came in the mail. He hid it from me and said he forgot. However, he didn’t forget because he bought a tinted license plate protector & took other steps to make our tag less noticeable to police. He got a warning for expired tag & a minor speeding ticket. Absolutely no big deal or any reason for me to be mad. So why?

It feels like he’s still capable of hiding things & his default reaction is to lie to me. If i got a ticket, it wouldn’t be a big deal-i’d tell him immediately. Is this an indicator of future lies?
