Due to Super Smash Brothers` lack of extensive online matchmaking, there currently is no way of adding a person as a friend or re-connecting with them after a game is over or when they disconnect from a match.

Smashed Connections, which is inspired from [this thread](http://www.reddit.com/r/smashbros/comments/2i9gmu/the_saddest_thing_about_smash_4/), hopes to bring together lost connections in order to build a healthier and stronger Smash community.
