Hello!
So about a month ago I started to work on improving my life.
Every day about 8 PM I get this surge of energy to do something good, tidy up my apartment, go to gym, and go on a long walk listening to podcasts, as well as a self-care routine.
I mostly listen to Andrew Huberman and I stumbled across his episode on sleep and how important sleep hygiene is. I usually go to sleep around 1 AM and wake around 9 AM.
So I decided to get to sleep by 10 or 11pm and wake up without an alarm and go out to see sunlight and wake up. It works and I feel pretty good in the mornings, but now I don't get that surge of energy in the evening and I started slacking on everything, it's like my energy levels are static throughout the day and that's not enough to do anything really.
When I go to bed around 1 AM I feel pretty bad in the morning, but I'm able to do my work for the day and all the boring chores. And then I actually feel alive in the evening.
Can anyone explain what's going on here? I tried a normal sleep schedule for a week, should I keep going like this, is it gonna get better? Or should I go back to my old ways?
