I suffer from extreme chronic fatigue issues and unrestful sleep no matter what I do. I also have ADHD, generalized anxiety, and major depressive disorder if that’s relevant. A while ago I had some cardiac work done (echocardiogram) and they diagnosed me with mild/moderate mitral valve tricuspid regurgitation (i forget exactly what it’s called) but they didn’t seem to be worried about that.
I also have self diagnosed myself with some disorder I learned about called POTs, i’m pretty sure I might have this. I also have been dealing with chronic shortness of breath for years now (not long covid).
Anyway, i’ve had a sleep study done 2 times already over the last couple years and each time they told me everything looks fine. I’m not sure if they’re specifically just testing me for sleep apnea, but are there not other sleep issues/disorders they should look for?? I read a comment on reddit a while ago about someone saying you need to ask them to test for some specific thing but I completely forgot what the comment said.
Does anyone have any advice or suggestions/experience with this? I just don’t want it to be another waste of time. I’m fucking miserable.
