So a few weeks ago my gf of 8yrs asked me to move out so she can have space to figure herself out. She has struggled with addiction for the past 6yrs of that time. And this has been a constant fight between us. During the bulk of the 6yrs I have been he only one working to support us. Her plan is to learn how to take care of herself and wants to do it with us living apart. I will admit I haven't been the best at coping with her addiction and understand why she might feel that without me constantly around she might be more successful.

My problem is that roughly a month before she told me of her decision I lost my job. She already had a roommate lined up. I feel like she is just leading me along in order to feel no remorse for breaking up. I stood by her this whole time and feel betrayed by the situation.
