it's hard to feel things
Post Body

I'm not sure if this would be the appropriate place to post this, but I'm gonna give it a try. I (18 f) am in sort of an FWB situation with one of my roommates (19 m). it's very confusing because every other time I am not around him, I miss him and can't wait to head home and pop into his room; however, when I do, I almost feel nothing. I think this is tied to my depression because I simply feel numb to all emotions but sadness most of the time, but I am just really confused and I want to know if anyone else feels this too. If anyone feels that they can like someone at any other time except when they actually spend time together. And it's not that he does things that piss me off, it's simply just a lack of emotion. I know I like them, but maybe my depression is clouding my sense of judgment or my true feelings. Also, for context, I've only known them for about a week, so I could be completely jumping the gun on this. I think I should talk to him and reiterate that I truly just want a FWB situation, but I'm still just confused. Should I wait and give it time? or start a discussion ASAP?
