My (28F) spouse (37M) and I have come to terms with the fact that we do not have an emotional connection. We have been together for 10 years and have 3 kids together, so the idea of a divorce is not something we are taking lightly. I have felt for years now that there is some disconnect and I’ve recently found that it stems from feeling unheard and unappreciated. My husband has started trying to show appreciation but it’s like it’s falling on deaf ears because of the years of compounded damage. I know that love and marriage can be hard and take a lot of work, but I’m scared that it may be too late. How do you know when it’s beyond repair?
