(sorry if this post is a little all over the place, I'm not the best at writing but I'm open to answering questions) I have been in a weird kind of relationship for the past two years, I don't even know how to describe it. It's been entirely online even though the first time I met them was in person, they somehow found me through social media and we have not seen each other since. We both openly had feelings for each other and we would talk often every day but they kept telling me they couldn't be in a relationship because of one thing or another, but they would still send me flirty texts and we eventually started sexting. They told me things like "when all of this (covid) is over, I would love to hang out and get into an actual relationship" and things alike but about a year ago I found out that they were hiding things from me, like not just stupid hobbies or embarrassing secrets, like their biggest main interest? And whenever I would ask about it they would completely ignore the question or flat out say they didn't want to talk about it with me. They would also like and comment on random girls' lewds on Instagram and I told them that made me very uncomfortable because I have body dysmorphia and major trust issues so I couldn't believe I trusted them. (They apologized for this but it still feels like they are doing it but somewhere I can't see) Sometimes I still find myself wondering if I was just overreacting or if they are so immature that they committed to manipulating me for so long instead of committing to a relationship? There is probably so much i'm leaving out because it feels like there is something new to fret over every day, but it seems like every time I try to talk to them again something goes wrong.. I feel bad saying it but they were really the only person who I felt comfortable talking so personally to at one of the hardest times in my life but it feels like there's a possibility that the affection was all fake. At this point we had a little argument over something dumb a few weeks ago and I got my feelings hurt, and I told them to contact me when they actually wanted to talk to me. Recently they haven't really liked my posts/viewed my story early, but that's been happening a lot so i'm getting even more mixed signals..this is such a mess but I want to tell them i'd give anything in the world to actually hang out and see each other so badly. They are by far the hardest person to read I've ever met but I can't help but think about them 24/7..any advice is appreciated lol. Thank you to whoever reads this and somehow understands.
