My best friend told me she needs to focus on herself, and now she's dismissing me.
Post Body

2 weeks ago, my best friend told me she needed to focus more on herself, and that she can't put all her energy into our friendship anymore. I understand that, and I made sure she knew that I'd be there to help and support her if she needed, and that she could reach out to me. However, we kept talking each day since she wanted to, but every time I try to talk about something important to me, she replies "I don't want to deal with it. You'll find a solution on your own". And I really don't get it. She wants to talk to me, and she tells me about her issues and I try to help her however I can, but when it's my issues, she just seems to dismiss me. I'm looking for advice because I don't want to be rude or cross her boundaries, but I'm not feeling too well about us right now... Last time, I told her about my suicidal thoughts (they've gotten pretty bad recently and I have no one else to talk with) and she just said "I don't want that energy. Stop saying those things". Maybe she just thinks I'm looking for attention, but I'm not, and losing her will probably make everything much worse.
