How do we tell our grandma her son died?
Post Body
I (29 M) want to help my family out.
My uncle (mom's oldest brother) died in Iran last week. He frequently calls my grandma to check up on her. Recently, she has been asking about him and why he hasn't been calling.
Grandma is 90 years old. We are afraid that the news would absolutely crush her and potentially make her have a heart attack or stroke or something bad.
What should we do? Should we just make up a lie? We know this isn't really sustainable. Any advice would be appreciated.
