My roommate's alarm to wake up goes off for hours at a time every single day. How do I make it stop???
Post Body

My Fiance (29 M) and I (30 NB) moved into a new house recently. My friend (41 F) moved into a new home with her bf and we took over her old lease. It's a great deal with one annoying caveat -- her adult son (20 M) continues to live there with us until he finds a place of his own. I'm happy to give the kid a chance to get on his feet, but in the week we've been living together we've run into several boundary issues. The most annoying of which is that his alarm starts going off around 10 am every single day and doesn't stop until around 3:30 pm or so when he gets up to go to work. We've asked him politely to stop setting his alarms like this, but he says he needs it to wake up. We knock on the door telling him to wake up and turn off the alarm and he eventually will, only for it to go off 5-10 minutes later. My fiance and I both work from home and the alarm situation is very disruptive to our work lives. What do I do???
