I (17M) have relationship anxiety and need some help sorting it out
Post Body

I began playing video games with someone (18F) that I met online in late October, and since then we have really gotten to know each other.

We started over voice chat, and eventually moved our way to FaceTime, where for ~2 months we would ft almost every night. I’m talking like 26/30 days in the month we would end our nights by facetiming

And we had a blast while doing it! I’m not a huge storyteller and she is, so its awesome to just hear her talk and be able to see her, especially since we are in diff states

About 2 weeks ago, she started driving her younger sister to school in the mornings, which meant that if we were on ft she would be too tired. That is completely understandable and I had no problem with it. I missed her a lot, but would rather her be well rested. She dropped her sister off for about a week, and then on that Saturday, we facetimed again.

Recently, she hasn’t been taking her sister to school but we haven’t been facetiming either. She’s been going to the gym which has been the reason why some nights, but other night I’d just get no call

We had this thing where she would call quickly and then hang up to tell me that she was ready to call, and then I would call her like an hour later. We have not done this in 2 weeks

The problem is that we are not dating right now. I’m planning on asking her after I turn 18 (which is next month) just because she’s already 18. I just can’t figure out if it’s out of place for me to ask her why we haven’t been facetiming. We aren’t officially dating, and the last thing I want to be is needy

Please help me out :(
