I've recently made up my mind about ending my relationship with my partner. We aren't married but have been living together for 2.5 years and have a 1 year old daughter together and are in Canada.
I have an appointment set up with a lawyer to ask some questions and to make sure I'm fulfilling my obligations I plan for 50/50 custody.
What my question is though how do I sit her down and have an honest conversation that I can't be in this relationship anymore? That I'm not happy, but without sounding like I'm just listing off all of her bad quailties? I know this is going to be hard for her but I want to be amicable so we can do what's best for our daughter.
We've been talking about some of our issues over the past few weeks and I can tell shes been trying on somethings... but I feel like this relationship has been effecting my mental health and I just need some space.
