So last night I had a reunion dinner with some buddies who I hadn't seen for a year now. We start catching up and one of them asks the other about this girl he had been seeing. I, unaware to his situation, ask him to tell me about it and show a picture of the girl so I can put a face on her. He shows me her IG profile and to my F*ING surprise it is my best friend's girlfriend.
I told my buddy some info about her as in what she's studying, where she lives and some minor personal details and he corroborates that it is her. He had no idea that she had a boyfriend and felt bad, although I told him it's not his fault.
Moving on, I'm planning on telling my best friend because he must know. They've been together for a year and I can't stand thinking about my friend meeting up with his (hopefully) soon-to-be ex again while I have knowledge of what's she's been doing behind his back. He MUST know, and I MUST tell him. But I wanna ask for ways of telling him that will make it easier, or how to help him afterwards aside from just being there for him.
Any help will be appreciated, and thanks for reading :)
