I know my ex was terrible for me, emotionally abusive etc... but I still love her and miss her. I think the worst thing is that I keep reading her social media posts, and she makes herself out to be a martyr, where I’m awful party. She ever recounts the events as they happened - she changes the details, so that she looks more injured and I look more hurtful. But I read these posts and I just see how much she has been hurt by other people, and I want to hold her and tell her it’s going to be ok, that she doesn’t have to lash out to get care, that she can be loved exactly how she is.

My therapist says I need to move on. What does that even mean?
