So my friend and this girl in his class were both sending strong signals to each other. In fact, she was sending more than him. Recently, they friendzoned each other, and agreed to be “friends”. However, most of the time, these situations usually end up in people not talking to each other and not being friends. In fact, she didn’t even wish him Happy Birthday (which kinda reinforced being on the “nothing” side as opposed to the romantically-involved “all” side). So why is it USUALLY an “all-or-nothing” (like 2 were something or nothing at all)?
