So I (29M) have been really tired of dating as of late, so many damaged people messed up by casual sex encounters (stop doing this, you're hurting yourself and I can prove it), and just predictable, but still disappointing short term flings.
I've started speaking with a girl (29F) and she seems interesting. She's very forward and upfront, which is a complete change of pace, and something I'm into.
However, I could literally take or leave any sort of relationship at this point in my life, as they're just so tiring. You can do everything right, have a terrible day, and come home to someone bitching at you for leaving a dirty cup in the sink while you were on your way to work. Stuff like that. I've been through it, I see my friends going through it, and I'm doing ok by myself right now.
This new girl that I've been talking to, however, piqued my interest in the beginning, but after a phone call where we spoke for two hours, she sent me a text later where she said she wished her sister could have come in so she could have awkwardly told her that "-I was speaking to my potential future husband, nbd."
I was taken aback for a moment as I'd never met her in person yet. Anyways, she's SUPER into astrology. I thought it was a decent interest to her, but it's at the point where she's asked me for my exact birth time and date, which I gave to her, though I am a firm agnostic and hyper skeptical of any belief system dictating people's actions, I can toy with the ideas and see what comes out. The birth time wasn't exact, my mother didn't have my certificate on hand, she just knows it was around 4pm.
Today we are supposed to go for a walk. I texted her to see what her availability was and she responded later about when she was free, but also added that she'd looked into my birth chart, and would like to know SPECIFICALLY if I was "born within 3:45-4:45 if possible LOL because outside of that then we're probs not soulmates."
Then she adds "I'm JOKING btw (but not) like I do want to know that lol"
Like, I'm already going nuts. Am I just being overly harsh and critical of this? I'm trying to just get to know someone and before we have even MET she's reading the fucking stars to make sure that we popped out of our mother's birth canals at compatible hours. I almost want to call it off completely, but want to give it a chance because other aspect line up really well (however, if we aren't SOULMATES ((smdh)) she might just bail, right?).
