I've long carried a torch for a girl I know, a friend actually. She was going out with this guy for a year, but they recently split up, maybe 2 weeks ago, after she found out he was cheating on her. I have been in touch with her recently, and she is devastated. She thought he was the one and is really upset and in that stage where she kinda hates guys completely. I really really like her and we get on really well. I plan to ask her out at some point but realise now is probably not the moment. How long do you think I should leave it? I was thinking about a month. I know that seems early but I don't want to miss my chance and think I might be able to put a smile back on her face. I have often taken too long to ask girls out before and other guys have snuck in and beaten me to it. Thoughts ...
