So long story short, my boyfriend (22m) and I (27m) made the hard but mutual decision to separate about 3 months ago. I recently asked him if he'd take me back and his response a very reassuring yes. However, due to current living situations we're now about 6 hours apart and both have our own places. It would be roughly a year until we'd be able to move back in together. Just knowing that we'll be together again makes me miss him so much more and want to be with him. So much so that it hurts. He originally didn't want to do long distance due to other factors and we haven't talked about it since. I'm not sure what to do. Should I ask him to consider long distance? Or should we wait until we're physically together? It would also be hard for us to see each other during this time due to school and work. But I would make it happen as often as possible. Any advice/suggestions/similar situations appreciated!
