I have worked for a company that I will leaved unnamed for a year and a half now. I moved from checkout operator to supervisor in under a year as a casual worker, only working 5 - 10 hours a week.
My boss sees potential in me and wants to coach and develop my skills, but I don't have the same thrill for the job as I used to.
I am confused as what to express to my boss around how I am feeling. I feel like if I express my dismay for the job at the moment, I will be judged and given less hours and won't be coached.
I really want to keep the relationship with my boss, as I think I can learn a lot of life experience from her, but I don't want to work a job where I can't give it my all anymore.
How can I be nice about bringing up this issue with my boss?
