It seems to be a general consensus to not seem desperate, but why is that?
General question. Maybe important, maybe not, but I'm gay M28.
EDIT. I'm asking because I'm not completely convinced it's valid. I understand that a bit of mystery and uncertainty can be attractive, but personally I prefer to know early on if they liked me or not. However I've found out that being quite direct seems to scare people away. Maybe it's a sign of maturity, if you're immature you like to play a game and feign disinterest, but if you're more mature you just cba with that?
