Starting and keeping a LDR healthy and fun

So today I found out that me and this girl crushed on each other when we met at a concert. We talk like every week or 2 weeks (mostly sharing memes and shit? but I would honestly like to date her. Problem is COVID and she lives in PA while I live in NYC. Should I even bother with trying to start a LDR and if so, what are some ways to keep it healthy?
