I know men shouldn't need compliments as much and I was cool with it for a while not getting any Compliments, buts its been 4 years now. I always compliment my GF and tell her shes hot, sexy, has great body, great breasts, hair you know name it. I love complimenting her and making her feel good about herself. It makes her feel good and myself, but I noticed my GF never gives me any compliments its sort of gets to my head. She never complimented my face, body, intelligence, personality literally nothing. My last girlfriend was super cool and said I was really smart and I had a big penis and that always helped me feel good about myself and our sex life was great for it we loved saying nice things to each other. But my new girlfriend although we get along she never makes me feel good verbally, although we get along pretty good in other ways. I brought it up and she got mad and said a man doesn't need compliments and only should get them for accomplishments he does not for what they look like or brain. I told her its nice to compliment someone makes them stand out and reason they are with you and it feels great in sex, when someone says nice boobs, or like your big penis or even just complimenting someones brain is nice. I don't know what to do it sort of makes me think she doesn't like me that much sexually and romantically. Also my self esteem takes a hit, I won't lie I tried to be tough and shrug it off as "thats not manly" "shes with me she must find me attractive" But it does affect me.

Note: I did talk to her twice about and she got a bit irritated I brought it up a 2nd time and told "I got it" and then said "for me men don't need compliments on how they look but only deserve compliments on what they achieve". I just mentioned its nice to your partner in a verbal way. So far she tried 1 super mild compliment (super subtle "I like your skin tan color"). Also know im decent looking guy and was got some compliments sometimes from random girls, I don't need them from other girls I want it from her the girl I care about.
