Ok...so I (M36) recently got promoted at work which moved me to night shift (11p-7a) and in the last week since the switch, my husband (M41) has been a complete and total bitch to me and one of our kids. We have been together for 17 years and I love my husband to pieces, but I’m tired of getting yelled at for nothing, and I’m getting to the point that after 17 years, I’m kinda done. I don’t want to feel this way, but my husband will not talk at all. What do I do??

To elaborate: Our kids are grown (we adopted them as teens and they are all out of the house except one, our 23 year old) and my husband is the one who pushed me to take the promotion knowing it was night shift for right now. The Hubbs and I have no days off together, but Tuesday’s we always meet up at our local haunt to hang out. I feel like he’s become snippy due to us not having any time together, and the last 3 weeks have been hell. I’m at my wit’s end on what to do. I have feeling like this.
