Am I right to ask my girlfriend not to continue contact with a friend who I think is flirting?
Post Body

Hello, Iā€™ll try and make this short.

My girlfriend has a friend who is one of her exes good friends. He recently got out of a long term relationship because he was cheating on his significant other for a long time.

This guy starts texting my girlfriend. She is a cam girl. He keeps bringing it up (brought it up like 5 times in a day of texting) and she just didnā€™t respond to that stuff. But he also asked her seemingly innocuous stuff like what kind of snacks she ate. She told him she had a good day he said ā€œgood thatā€™s all I care about.ā€

She texted him ā€œholdā€ meaning pause the conversation. And said ā€œhold the trainā€ meaning hold the train of texts. He said ā€œI should no gameā€ which I think means he should know how to text behind someoneā€™s back. Overall Iā€™m very upset at my girlfriend. Idk if sheā€™s playing dumb or really didnā€™t see anything wrong.

So I saw a bunch of texts from this guy light up on her lock screen and I asked what they were talking about. She said nothing and offered to let me read it. I did read it and thatā€™s when I saw he kept bringing up camming and being what I consider flirtatious. I got upset, she didnā€™t to think anything was wrong with it. We talked about it for a while and didnā€™t really come to a conclusion.

So, basically Iā€™ve got some guy who just cheated on his girlfriend a bunch now texting my girlfriend and idk what to do. Tomorrow Iā€™m going to tell her this feels like it crossed a boundary and she canā€™t be in contact with him. Do I have the right to do that?
