While I was at a wedding in Hawaii last month my girlfriend went to one of her friend's wedding with another guy and they shared a hotel room.

Post Body

We have been dating for over three years now; both 25 and grew up with each other; after high school she went to college, I went to the Marines.

We had what you might call a "rough stretch" a couple months ago. I have lots of problems that I have carried with me from the Marines-don't really want to talk about that stuff, I'm getting help for that. The week before I went to Hawaii we spent all of our free time together and thought everything was going great. I knew she had a wedding the same day that the one I was attending 2000 miles away, and she even mentioned that she might take another guy as a date. That upset me a little bit but I did not want to come off as a control freak, so I let it go. At no point did I think she would share a hotel room with this guy.

More info: Wedding was far from where she/I live. Said she was NOT interested in him, and could've taken someone who was interested in her but didn't. Said there were sepearte beds. She was up front with me when I asked her how she got home from the wedding -that she stayed in a room, etc.

Am I overreacting? Has this ever happened to you or someone you know?

Thanks
