Pfff, okay, here goes.

So, I'm a [M/18] guy, with an interesting dilemma on my hands. I'm pretty endowed when it comes to having friends, on both sides of the gender divide, I am able to float between 'circles' with ease and all that jazz.

So, this girl, whom I'll leave as anonymous as possible, started this trend with myself and a couple good friends of mine like, 3 or so months ago: ass slapping/grabbing. Okay, sure. I'm keen to noticing small details, like the primary one: her subtle focus on my ass. I took it as a running joke for about a month, as I'm guessing my friends did too. I'm not one that gets offended when someone starts touching me, so I never really had any gripes about it.

A little afterward, I started to get a little suspicious, I was noticing that the intensity in which she was doing all this always was a little up with me compared to my friends. I'm one to test the waters to see what's up, and I generally find out pretty quickly (I should add, I've known her for about a year, so I'm not approaching this from an angle of not clearly knowing her), and slapping her ass wasn't a top priority on my list, lol, so I picked another alternative: flirting. Nothing heavy, just enough to make a discernible impression than usual.

She sort of goes along with the spiel, life progresses onwards. Fast forward about a week, we are all in P.E., I'm attempting to adjust my shoes when she snatches my shoe off, and stuffs it between her legs, with just enough room to retrieve it, if I wanted to. Welp, I kinda need it, so I'm like, haha, that's cute, and go to grab it and throw it back on my foot. I'm met with, "I don't think my boyfriend would like it if he found your hand was by my business." Uhhhhhhh, wut? I quickly nip off that's not my intention and that I'm just going for my shoe. I get it back, the period goes fine after that.

Afterwards, the ass slapping and grabbing intensifies, a good bit actually. Starts to definitely start focusing more on me at this point. Again, I don't really care about the action, but rather the intent. So, the flirting sort of works, sort of doesn't, it depends on how she interprets it. Every once in awhile, I'm told yadda yadda boyfriend, yadda yadda.

I guess at this point I don't know, if she has a boyfriend, I'd like to think she'd be a little more aware of her approach to people, like say, grabbing their asses and whatnot, but hey. I guess I'm throwing this up because, I'm at a loss, really. I get vibes that she's into me, but then she pulls back and throws up the defensive boyfriend flak, and retreats behind that. I don't know if she even has a boyfriend, but I'm generally not one to doubt.

I guess, maybe help me piece this together(?), lmao, I'm losing my mind.

TL;DR A pretty solid friend of mine has been slapping my ass, and taking some of my stuff in a semi-flirtatious way and then using the boyfriend tactic to give her immunity, and my own tactics seem to be failing me.
