Long story short, we’ve had some bad back and Firth’s hurting each other, then getting over it and forgiving the other. She takes a lot longer than I do to get over things, and it rips me apart on the inside waiting for her forgiveness. To the point where I can’t function. I was at a bottom when I asked myself a question... Do I need her approval? It’s going to happen or not, and worrying about it is probably making it worst. So why not just be happy with knowing I made a mistake, I sincerely apologized, and her choice is up to her. I feel a million times better now, but also want to make sure I’m not going to become a sociopath thinking this way. Thoughts?
