Going to make this straight to the point.

We're driving home from the store and my step son [8] asked me if I knew a "Rick" I said no why? He said mom was getting alot of texts from him last night while we were driving home. (Wife has a new dodge dart so it says "you got a text from so or so" as a feature)

Then it clicked that it was her old friends with benefits that keeps trying to hit her up and who she slept with before we ever met and most importantly when we took a 3 month break last year.

I asked her so why he was texting her and she said she was over at her friends when her friend Taylor brought him up and wife texted him saying Taylor was talking about him.

I told her talking to this person was a huge no for me and I find out through my step son. Should I believe her and take her word, or approach the subject again when step son isn't present. I feel this is a huge disrespect to me as I told her I don't appreciate that.

Also I wouldn't be so upset if she acted more into me but she just doesn't so it leave my thoughts to the worst. Advise?

Tl:Dr: step son [8] told me that wife was taking to a old ex via text message. It's led me to feel really disrespected.
