{31m} I recently entered into a FWB situation with a friend {32f} and this is new to me
Post Body

ok, so some background first: I recently became single (since May) after a 3-year relationship. It was a tough breakup but I have been taking it well; I have my own place again, I'm rebuilding. Great. There's a girl that I've liked - even during my relationship, but I kept it platonic throughout and my ex-gf did know about our friendship - that I recently propositioned a friends-with-benefits arrangement. Poured my heart out to her one night and it kinda just spilled out nonchalantly. Surprisingly, she said she was cool with that kind of arrangement given that she isn't really the relationship type and I'm nowhere near ready to get back to dating seriously. So we talked about it, laid down some ground rules, and this past Sunday was our first hookup (we met up last Wednesday but it was mostly touching and making out because we were out in public). But to be honest, I don't really know where to go from here. I'm used to having sexual contact with women I've dated, so this is new territory for me. What's the usual kind of protocol for FWB arrangements? Obviously there's no 'baby' or 'sweetie' kind of talk, or even long phone conversations at night; if our schedules are ok, we meet up and we have sex. If feelings ever come up, how should we deal with it?
