I could give a bunch of details about reasons for lack of experience but it basically boils down to my lack of confidence/flirting technique that has gotten a lot better in the past year. Because of this lack of experience, I feel like I'm a bad texter/caller (e.g. not knowing what to say or when to say it/how to flirt in textual form).
Anyway, the reason for this post is because I met a girl at a party last night. She and I had a few things in common and I'm overly talkative/confident when drinking. Things went so well that she said several times "we really need to get coffee" to the point that I asked for and received her number. We left with different groups of people so it was easy to say goodnight.
So here I sit on a Saturday morning with a girl's number in my phone and no idea how to use it. My first thought is that I don't want to immediately mention coffee but need to find another way to start the conversation. Then after a few texts, I'll try to go for the actual coffee invitation.
What do other "normal" people do when this happens? Examples of things you would say (instead of vague advice) would be really helpful here.
