When do relationships start to turn from “I” to “us” F/28, M/39, 1 year.
Post Body

We’ve been together for a year and I feel like at this point in other relationships that’s when things start to turn into “us” things instead of so individual. I of course never want to take away mine or someone else’s individuality but there just isn’t any “oh what are WE doing this weekend” it’s a lot of “this is what IM doing and you can join or I’ll find time for you”. He’s been single a lot of his life and never really been in a super long term relationship. So maybe he just doesn’t get it? I’m also doubting my self if I’m just being sensitive but it makes me feel like this is how it’ll be forever. So at what point in a relationship does it switch? Is is concerning that it hasn’t? How do I bring up this conversation without sounding like I want everything to be about us. I love my alone time so that’s NOT the case. I just want to feel some sense of togetherness like we are actually a team.
