I will make this short.

A couple of years ago i met a guy online. "Jake" was super nice and we started to have a fling very quickly. We'd see eachother every day and started to stay over in our respective houses.

He always went away for weeks at a time but eventually returned for a couple of months.

This went on for a few years and we somewhat were a couple. I did ask, he did ask and it seemed we were committed. He simply went away for work. And even during his time gone we'd still talk almost ever night.

A friend(35m) of mine, george, , who i haven't seen since high school bumped into me in a town i had an appointment. We talked and eventually agreed for an evening drink. He tells me he has been seeing this guy for some time and i find out we were seeing the same guy.

George also told me that Jake isn't only seeing him but knows that Jake is having many sidekicks.

I confront Jake, he tells me he WAS seeing people before but not since we are together. I ask George, he says Jake was just f ing him a few weeks ago. Not sure who to believe here.

Fast forward to yesterday.

Jake left for work a week ago. Yesterday i go to water his plants but the door was open. A woman was inside. I was a bit shocked but i told her i have a key, she had one too, we said down and talked.

"Jennifer" is Jake's wife and he is only home every other weekend because of work. She said she feared that he'd cheat on her so she came here to check out the apartment (she basically broke in without him knowing).

We talked for a bit. Jake has three kids, told his family he works a lot but actually spents a lot of time with me and seems to have the regular side dish in other towns around here.

Sooooo. I personally like him and i can understand the living in the closed thing, but boy has he been lying.

I haven't confronted him yet because i haven't made up my mind if i should be angry or not. Mainly because we never talked about being exclusive, I simply assumed it. Also i am a little weirded out bc of the family thing. He simply never said anything.

I'd love if you have some advice.
