My long term partner left me after saying she didn’t want a future with me just hours after we’d gone to shops planning what we’d need for our future home.
We’d broken up for a brief period of time a couple months before because admittedly I had hidden my intention to use PEDs. I went to therapy and began trying to better myself and be more emotionally open and we got back together. Everything felt fine and I had booked tickets for a gig months prior before our temporary separation as a valentines present. Our mutual friend who she tried to get with when we were separated was also invited and got a ticket. She cut off contact when we got back together under her own accord as I don’t believe in forcing someone to do things they don’t want. When she did the u-turn and ended it she added him back hours later.
I want to ask for either the ticket back or the money it costs if she wants to go (which wasn’t cheap) but I just can’t bring myself to do it. What would you do?
