So I met this woman tonight for coffee and we had a really great first date. We hit it off and shut down Starbucks lol. Neither of us had realized how much time had passed. When is a good time to mention my ex-wife? I wasn't planning to just drop this information on date 2 or anything but my ex-wife is...just a lot...she constantly finds ways to cause issues, we argue often, she can be very mean and never hesitates to cause a scene. I have 2 kids which this new woman is aware of. I'm worried my ex will find out somehow that I'm dating again and I don't want this new woman to be shocked or surprised or worse yet lose a chance to turning into a real relationship.

An example of my ex doing insane things to interfere in my life. My last girlfriend, she did a full background check on her, called my entire family to tell them that my new girlfriend wasn't divorced yet officially (which I knew about prior to my ex announcing it) and that she was a cheater because she was still legally married. It completely embarrassed my new girlfriend. I just don't want to see that happen again to another innocent possible girlfriend. Thank you for any tips or ideas!
