My bf sent me a text calling me by another name but edited the message instantly to correct it to my nickname. However, I saw it in my message preview since I was on my phone when he texted me. He claimed that it was an autocorrect typo since he just got a new phone. To be fair, my nickname is unusual so it could be true.
But what also worries me is that when we were out last week, we walked past a café and he said he had been there with his 'boyfriend' and then said that he misspoke and meant his friend. What was even more confusing was that the friend he was actually referring to is a cis female?! My bf has always said he is straight and never ever referred to his cis male friends as 'boyfriend'.
I'm not sure whether to ask him about these issues again or just let them go.
