it’s a fairly new relationship, we had our first date at the end of august and made it official at the end of september. i like him a lot and it’s going well! however with christmas/hanukkah coming up (i’m culturally christian and he’s culturally jewish) i’m worried i might’ve gotten him too much. i got him a robe with his favorite sports team logo on it, a final fantasy sweater (his favorite game), a cologne sampler set with 3 scents, and a candle. together it was just under $100 i believe, and then some items were discounted in addition. i love giving christmas gifts, and i will be delighted with whatever he decided to get me as well. but i’m starting to get a little anxious that if our gifts aren’t on equal leverage he’ll feel bad, especially since my birthday is also two days before christmas. it wouldn’t bother me at all if he got me less than i got him, it’s a new relationship and like i said i just love giving gifts, i just don’t want him to feel bad. is it too much or am i okay? i can secretly return something if it is a bit too much.
